Applying game theory to community

Lot of human psychology at work in games and communities.   While the game theory and the reputation engine are helpful in stratifying the masses, and helping to spot talent within the community, I think there is a critical human component where the company must reach out and build personal relationships – the kind where those customers can pick up a phone and call one or more employees they know any day of the week.   We start to share space in our personal and social networks with those exceptional customers as well – friending on Facebook, following on Twitter, trading emails, and commenting on each other’s blogs.
