The title pretty well sums up the last 7 days.   Leslie and I traveled to Negril, Jamiaca, and joined by family and close friends, were married.  We had a wonderful, brief ceremony in an outdoor gazebo,  followed by reception and entertainment from a local Jamaian band.  A photographer preserved the moment well for us, with a number of great pictures.  This one is one of my favorites, as I look probably the most relaxed any time around that ceremony.  Leslie was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves .

Over the course of the last week,  we’ve learned a lot about Jamaican culture, French coconuts, “no worries”philosophy, driving on the wrong (left) side of the road, fine spirits, good people from all over the world, and about ourselves.  Though we spent some money on the trip, I feel we’ve returned far richer than when we left.

More to follow after I unpack and see what’s transpired in the rest of the world during my abscence…
