The defacto hiatus from blogging these last two months has not been intentional. I’m doing things, but really haven’t had the time to write them up, nor felt that many could be shared. Upon reflection, it is that the vast majority of my life has shifted to my career.
I began this journey seeking affirmation that I could be “the guy”. In hindsight, I’m coming to see that so much was undefined that one couldn’t really explain what it was I was asking to do until it had been done for a while. Somebody else who had already done it could have explained it perhaps. Five years later, I find that it, like life is a constantly changing thing and I hope to interject a bit of change as well.
I’ve been largely reactive over the past few years, seeing opportunity and growing from the challenges, but not chartering a clear course toward a defined long term objective state. New talent is joining the organization, and I’m encouraged by their vision, expertise, and youthful energy and perspective.
The doldrums are passing and exciting times are on the horizon once again.
